ACTION 1.1.2: Research and development for investment attraction
Call for Research, Development and Innovation for Investment Attraction
The AI-LABS project aims to develop a new-concept LIMS software supported by generative AI algorithms for optimized management of analysis laboratories. The new LIMS will feature:
  1. Sample management with entry and acceptance in the LIMS via chatbot, sample traceability via TAG, and measurement of the carbon footprint throughout the entire lifecycle;
  2. Automated entry of analytical data from various instruments, based on AI anomaly detection algorithms enabling quality and robustness checks of analytical data;
The AI-LABS project also aims to create a new type of incubator equipped with an image analysis system for microbiological analyses, which automatically and predictively recognizes and measures microbial colonies.
Project period: November 11, 2024 – April 1, 2026
