The first two years of Aidia

A couple of weeks ago Aidia turned two years old. Two years after its inception, there have been many changes, novelties, and satisfactions, with many more to come. Aidia is a reality built from scratch, starting from a small shared office and the determination of the three young founding partners. On this occasion, we had a chat with CEO Riccardo Celli to take stock of the successes, difficulties, and new prospects.

Hi Riccardo! First of all, given the occasion, we wanted to ask you what you think has changed for Aidia in the last two years.

A lot has changed, for sure! We have grown into a company with 15 employees and a well-structured internal organization: we have a marketing team, an administration team, and several development teams. Moreover, our horizons have expanded. Initially, our clients were mostly local, of provincial and regional interest, but now we have some important partnerships and ongoing projects, even on a national and international scale. This gives us hope for progressive growth.

And what do you think have been your most important successes?

Let’s say that creating a company in the middle of a pandemic and making it grow so quickly was certainly an important milestone. However, I believe the greatest satisfaction has been seeing so many projects come to fruition. Over time, there have always been new opportunities: work and partnerships with other important companies.

What about obstacles? Have there been any?

I think every company has to overcome quite a few, especially in this period. Moreover, starting without investment funds or an already established customer base is not easy. It is necessary to make yourself known, earn the trust of partners and companies. It’s a continuous job that never ends. Also, one of the things clients look at is who is behind the company: the people. Therefore, another difficulty is finding valid people who deliver results. However, commitment and work methods often pay off.

What do you hope for the future of Aidia?

Growth. In what? In everything. Besides revenue, I hope there will be a further increase in our staff. Moreover, Aidia aims to become a reference for those companies that want to transform digitally and gain a competitive advantage in their sector. Aidia has the potential to be a reliable and solid partner. It can therefore support companies that have complex projects to develop and that pursue innovative challenges.

And now what awaits you?

Certainly, a nice birthday present for Aidia is the new headquarters, where we will soon move. A more spacious environment that meets the needs of a growing reality. Last but not least, the establishment of Sphera. Together with Aidia, the goal is to create innovative products, which we hope to launch on the market by the end of 2022.
